LabCellCount is tuned to analyze images of cell cultures, organisms or particles, but its open architecture allows easy adaptation to other similar applications.
LabCellCount has interactive facilities for viewing the results of the different stages of image processing, for setting parameters, and for training the internal neural network classifier. Classification of shapes is based on contour.
LabCellCount can automatically handle a large number of images, and save the results on the computer. The programs work on 8 or 16 bit grey-scale images.
