LabDatabase

LabDatabase is a general purpose database which supports all Bioras software products, based on the freely distributable SQL Server Express.

Results from data analysis can be exported directely to Excel.

LabDatabase can import data in a simple spreadsheet format, where the first row contains column labels. Meta data containing extra information about data files can also be imported and linked. New columns found in data files or meta files are automatically created in the database. This design keeps query syntax as simple and intuitive as possible. Queries are supported in a plug-in architecture. New queries can be added by creating them in a text editor and moving them to the Queries folder. They are loaded when LabDatabase starts. Queries can be edited and saved while LabDatabase is running for debugging purposes.

LabDatabase supports all Bioras product result data formats. A number of example queries are included in the installation and these can be used as templates for customized queries. Delete queries can also be created for database maintenance purposes.
