Description
The Macro 3D mounting rail is a platform for mounting 2 cameras in parallel to each other. With the 3D mounting rail it is easy set up of a 3D parallel camera system. The setup is ideal for studies of the three dimensional (3D) behaviour of motile planktonic organisms.
3D parallel camera setup
Parallel camera configurations can measure distances up to 15x the distance between them, so the rail can be used for distances up to 4.5m. Longer rails can be made on request.
Central mounting hole is threaded with 1/4″ standard photo tripod thread.
Cameras and mounting arm are not included. The mounting arm shown is a standard arm from Manfrotto with a standard quarter inch tripod thread.
